Gartner Designates Dialogic as Visionary in Magic Quadrant for SBCs

Gartner Inc., an information technology  and advisory company, has designated Dialogic (News - Alert) as a market “Visionary” in the Magic Quadrant for Session Border Controllers (SBCs) for its BorderNet family of SBC solutions.


Officials with Dialogic claimed that service providers look to Dialogic BorderNet SBC solutions as a way to securely connect diverse mobile and fixed networks for seamless and rapid delivery of combined multimedia offerings across their next generation, 4G/LTE, 3G and 2G network domains.

Company officials said that BorderNet SBCs deliver exceptional CAPEX and OPEX (News - Alert) value and provide voice and video connectivity along with advanced security features. The BorderNet 4000 SBC can be deployed in peering and access applications requiring high performance session control and management.

According to company officials, it complements the multimedia video and HD Voice support of the BorderNet 2020 SBC, an integrated SBC-gateway appliance for the rapid deployment of mobile VAS and contact center applications.

Earlier in March, Dialogic, a provider of communications technologies that enhance the end-to-end mobile experience, had announced that its bandwidth optimization solutions are helping service providers meet their mobile backhaul challenges.

For service providers, this has resulted in improved customer experience and, in turn, an increase in subscriber base, which is enhancing both short and long-term growth prospects.
