New Version of Jamvee Enhances Unified Communications' Interoperability

June 23, 2014

On Wednesday, Tata Communications (News - Alert) announced the release of their latest version of Jamvee. Jamvee is the company's flagship next generations United Communications platform built with the architecture of a global tier 1 network, and delivers cross-company collaboration solutions that keep workers connected no matter where they are. Jamvee combines almost any pieces of client software into a single platform that handles audio, video, or text messaging that can share multiple types of content in groups or to individuals – and works with nearly any device or browser.

Jamvee offers an agnostic and secure unified communications service designed to cooperate with and enhance existing UC networks and equipment. Interoperability is becoming more and more important in today's business climate, and communicating remotely with other branches of the same company is vital. Perhaps even more critical is the ability for separate companies to communicate and share documents when they need to, but differing hardware and software often makes this task difficult.

Tata's Jamvee platform offers a solution to this by integrating features like WebRTC to eliminate any discrepancies that would arise from incompatible software. As long as both companies run Jamvee, almost any information can be translated into an acceptable format and shared.

The full audio, video, chat and content sharing capabilities offered by Jamvee perfectly complement any kind of video conferencing presence, and inspire creativity as well as enhanced productivity and collaboration. Even when co-workers do not share an office space or even a parent company, Jamvee allows them to stay connected and stay responsible to their teammates.

According to Tata Communications President and CTO John Hayduk, “Delivering the ability to collaborate easily both internally and externally with customers and partners enables productivity improvements for businesses. Interoperability is key to this, and Jamvee takes this to the next level. By providing an open and fully customizable foundation for future Unified Communications (News - Alert) to be added, companies can realize the full growth potential of Unified Communications quicker and easier than ever – Unified Communications on your terms.”
