Ipanema Technologies Updates Automatic Networking System for Greater Lync Visibility

September 22, 2014

One of the world's leading providers of Application Performance Guarantee Solutions over the Wide Area Network, Ipanema (News - Alert) Technologies, has just made an announcement concerning an update to the company's esteemed Automated Networking System (ANS). The new version, ANS 8, offers a distinct upgrade to both visibility and control for Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync communications in addition to suppoert Microsoft Office 365 and GoogleApps. The new upgrade ensures that users will have an easier time connecting and communicating, and even differentiates between sub-features like video and screen sharing for ultimate compatability.

Within the modern business climate, there is a general increase in the use of unified communications systems, including Microsoft Lync. “As enterprises adopt more cloud based, peer-to-peer and demanding applications, a more sophisticated approach to guaranteeing the performance of those applications is needed,” says the Vice President of Marketing at Ipanema, Béatrice Piquer-Durand, in a simple explanation of why such an upgrade is so critically important. “With this release, through an integrated platform our customers can ensure each and every user of Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Office 365 or GoogleApps sub-feature whether it be video-conferencing, voice, email, screen or file sharing, will receive expected quality of service for an excellent user experience.”

IT managers in enterprises around the world can use Ipanema's ANS (News - Alert) 8 to take control of various applications through the integrated platform designed to cover as many different channels as possible. This allows companies to easily migrate legacy applications to the cloud at much higher speeds, reducing the amount of downtime associated with upgrading from costly legacy systems to more efficient cloud-based applications. It also helps manage inbound Internet traffic to protect applications from hackers and prioritize business data over recreational traffic, which helps ensure that business applications will not be compromised in any way.
